Life recently:
I just got back from a dream trip to Japan, my first time back in 21 years and only my second time! It was incredibly special to travel with my family and reconnect with our family that's still in Japan. We explored my grandparents' hometowns and made memories that I'll cherish for life. I’m feeling so inspired and grateful to be creating again here in Berlin.

Before that, I had a cute time tattooing in California and working my sister’s booth at the SF Cherry Blossom Festival (check out her incredible block prints @6degreesofhapa).

Happy Pride Month

I’m non-binary, queer, and a mixed Japanese American. Creating a safer space for the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities is at the heart of my practice. I believe in body positivity, intersectionality, and a consent-forward approach.

My practice is a haven for our communities and allies. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, ableism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, Anti-semitism, and hate speech are not tolerated.

I believe no human is illegal, black lives matter, trans is beautiful, and everyone deserves to chase their happiness.
